My name is Bonnie Miller. You may call me Bonnie. I’ve been living in Chicago for most of my adult life. I however grew up in New York. Prior to teaching, I had my own business in the recruitment of executives in the fields of integrated marketing- communications’ arts. I came to teaching because I wanted to serve my community. Teaching is a passion for me. I have an undergraduate degree from Loyola University. In addition, I have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ESL from National Louis University. I have participated in many post-graduate classes. Finally, as a teacher, I am committed to motivate and empower my students on their journey. I desire to support them with their academic progress in all areas of communications including but not limited to; TESOL, ILTS as well as, the fundamentals of grammar, writing, speaking and listening.
In addition- in order to stay relevant today, I bring typical culture and social issues into our discussions. Helping students to follow their dreams, celebrating their achievements, as well as enjoying the learning processes are important components of my virtual (online) classroom experience
