Before he became an English as a Second Language instructor in 2013, Patrick worked in the financial industry for 13 years as a trainer, teaching people how to adapt to new ways of doing their jobs. Patrick excels at helping students feel safe and confident by promoting a sense of joy in classrooms and online environments.
Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has trained as a performer at the Second City in Chicago, and acted in theaters all over the city. Patrick has been known to tell stories onstage and appear as Master of Ceremonies for numerous comedy and theatrical showcases.
